What's New!

Thanks to all of the dog folks who are sharing their dogs and their dog knowledge with the project. New surveys are coming soon -  In 2012 we will survey pet owners, trainers, shelter and rescue professionals, veterinarians and more!

If you are new to Dog Talk, give the project a try using Survey Lite. If you enjoy the short surveys, we hope that you will stay with us to share more of your dog-related experiences through our full surveys!

WHAT IS THE DOG TALK PROJECT?

The Dog Talk Project is a survey and data collection program that studies the relationships between people and their dogs. The premise of Dog Talk is simple - we explore the details of relationships between dogs and their people by creating and distributing owner surveys that examine a wide variety of dog-related topics. Information collected through the surveys is organized into a continually expanding database, which is then used to answer questions about dogs' lives, their health care, nutrition, behavior, training, and their relationships with the other dogs and the people in their lives.
